en Pelisplus. What is an ethnographic film? Can there even be one? This film is an attempt— or, as we have come to call it, a "botched baby"— of trying to capture and read Humayunpur by thinking of how the city is reproduced by northeast migrants in Delhi. The title is play on words, for the tension and violence that is omnipresent in this process of place-making often goes unnoticed by the "rice beer-paglus" who haunt the lanes of Humayunpur.
